About me
I grew up fascinated by writers, musicians, and artists who captured human nature through their work. I attended an arts magnet elementary school that exposed me to music, foreign language, fine arts, theater and dance, and more from an early age. I later attended Indiana University where I majored in business and minored in creative writing. In addition to my classes, I spent my four years at IU singing as a first soprano in an internationally-touring choral ensemble,
I hail from the Midwest but have traveled to cities across the United States. I love to explore new places with my camera at my side! Before honing my skills in portrait photography, I often sketched portraits in my free time. This skill has influenced my approach to both taking and editing photos. If I ever feel the need to step away from my creative side, I enjoy learning about science, technological innovation, and world cultures. Image Courtesy of Danielle Doepke Photography
